Grant applications from non-profit charitable organizations in Banning and Beaumont are received throughout the year.

Agencies must have received a 501 (c)(3) determination letter prior to consideration for a grant.

The Distribution Committee meets in the months of June and October to consider grant requests.

The grant submittal deadline for applications is the 20^th of the month preceding the Committee’s meeting (ex: the deadline for the Committee’s June meeting is May 20^th).

Charitable organizations may apply for one Laura May Stewart grant during a calendar year. The maximum grant award is $6,000.  

Within 45 days of receipt of grant funding, organizations are required to file a Progress Report and submit receipts for purchases made with grant funds.
